New Faces, New Lunch Program

So many students get the school’s lunch and do not even second guess it, it is just a part of their routine. In the recent year, the lunchroom program has received several important factors that are a clear difference. Even for those who don’t get the school lunch, it is still apparent that there are several changes to staff, quality, and efficiency.

As people may have known, the staff has swapped. Mrs. Boggs has left the kitchen and she has been replaced by Mrs. Peitzmeier and Mrs. Weier. Not only have people found this to be a refreshing change of pace, but it has also been seen as a bad thing. Since both of them are newer to this job, they are seen as being less experienced.

Since the new program had been initiated, there appears to be more variety and quality in the food being produced. Students that never got the hot lunch before are now getting it because of how much it has changed. The favorites of Crispitos and Godfather’s pizza still remain because they are in fact considered to be quality.

Mrs. Peitzmeier’s planning seems to be more efficient than her predecessor. She seems to keep the kitchen more organized and the likelihood of something going catastrophe. She seems capable to ensure that students get fed and that the order in the lunchroom stays for the most part. Even though she is new to it, Mrs. Peitzmeier has done an excellent job with the lunch program.
