Overwhelming flavor or ridiculous craze? Pumpkin spice saturates food market
Fall, November, and leaves falling from the trees can only mean one thing- pumpkin spice lattes at Starbuck's and Scooter's. There have been a bunch of different "pumpkin spice" flavored foods coming out the past month than just coffee drinks. This craze has blown up even more since last year. Some of the new "pumpkin spice" foods are peeps, cupcakes, marshmallows, cinnamon rolls, Pop-Tarts, and even butter. Other foods found on the market have been cookies, yogurt and Cheerios, but odder and more adventurous foods include Jell-O, Oreos, M&M's, Skittles, chocolate chips, chips, Twinkies, and chewing gum.
Now most people know about Starbuck's pumpkin spice latte because it has been a trendy drink there for years. However, there have been different drinks to come out with the same flavor. Some of the drinks include milk, Kool-aid, and egg nog.
So are you a pumpkin spice lover or hater?
