Trending this Halloween
With Halloween coming up, we need to take a look at the trends from Halloween’s past so we can predict the trends that will be occurring this year. There are many predictions to be made along with the countless number of ideas to wear this year. Some things that trended last year were girls dressing up as Moana, friends being the cast of Strange Things, and even couples being Rick and Morty from Rick and Morty. Every trend has occurred because of events making them popular. In the case of Moana, the movie had come out the year prior, but after Halloween had already passed. In the case of Rick and Morty, many things popped up online and spread it throughout the internet, causing it to become popular This year is very likely to see many kids and teenagers dressing up for some Halloween fun. As of now, Fortnite has become a very exposed subject to the modern age. It wouldn’t be unexpected to see people as a default skin or the renowned skull trooper and skull ranger. Classics such as superheroes will always continue to exist with the new addition of Venom costumes. Other trends that could pop up again could be as simple as having a special Halloween party to decorating your entire house, inside and out, to fit a particular theme. The overlying question is, what should I go as this year. A simple thing would be to find something popular you like and go as it, it wouldn’t be too hard. If you have enough friends to do so, you could all go together wearing costumes that go together, such as characters from movies or even television shows. I suggest doing things that are simple but work well. Your everyday cowboy or doctor is refreshing for everyone to see. Not following what is popular is great to see because it allows a person’s creativity and personality shine through. Other traditions that I know will be happening this year comes back to Halloween parties. Most people will tend to get together, create group costumes, and enjoy the night. Festivities have included hayrides, corn mazes, and even the old-fashioned bobbing for apples. As teenagers sometimes do, other festivities could be as simple as egging or tp’ing a house to the more spooky side by visiting haunted houses or even graveyards late at night. What should you be doing this Halloween season? Make sure to stay safe. A person can’t enjoy Halloween if a person gets injured or sick in the process. Stay with your friends and family to make sure that everyone is able to stay safe, but also that you can still have a great time with your friends. Make sure to use common sense, if you don’t, you could find yourself in a situation that you know you could have avoided. Overall for this Halloween season, you could either be unique or do what everyone else is. You should stay safe to ensure that the festivities you plan for can actually be accomplished. Most importantly, listen to your parents, they tend to know what is best for you, and if something is terrible, you should always listen to them. For the sake of all humanity, don’t go as a character from Fortnite.
